Log Yard Operations:

Our large and versatile log yard is located just 2 miles off of Interstate 68. It serves as a staging area where logs are sorted, stored, and prepared for export. Our trucks and equipment are also kept in the yard, and are serviced at a large on site garage.

We stock several grades of logs including the following:
•Hardwood logs
•Pulpwood
•Peelers
•Locust

We offer storage services at our log yard, where material can be “hot shipped” with a minimum notice. Trucking services are available using company and hired trucks.

Safety is always our highest priority. Our loggers and truckers have a reputation for taking extra measures to ensure an accident-free workplace. We also have an unbinding rack located on the yard to keep our yard workers from being injured by falling logs.

Norman Nicol is the supervisor of the log yard and has been involved in the logging business as a logger and logging crew foreman for nearly 30 years. His experience helps to keep the yard efficient, safe, and well-maintained. He can be contacted through the Red Rock office at 301-746-5515
